Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks feature ribbing all the way to the toe for added security when staying on a newborn’s foot. This pattern can be downloaded from my website or directly from Ravelry. A video of my gap closing technique is found on the pattern page on my website linked above.
Knitting: Slippers
I will be adding a video tutorial shortly for the gap closing method described in the pattern. It can be found here and click on the picture of the socks.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern takes two skeins. A third skein may be added for creating a larger size. You can find video explanations of special stitches on my website. https://www.happinessyarn.co/photosynthesis
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern calls for Joy Sock but it can be crocheted in any weight yarn, just simply stop when you feel that the shawl is big enough. It is worked from the nape of the neck outward, so you can try for fit as you crochet.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This is a basic pattern you can follow using any hook or yarn size, simply stop when you’ve run out of yarn or your garment is the desired size! I like to use a hook size or two larger for a more drapey and loose garment. I always add fringe.

Knitting: Cowl
This free pattern was written with new knitters in mind when I taught a seminar at Texas State University. This is one of the patterns I gave out for free to my knitting students. The buttonholes are a nice challenge, but not necessary. Enjoy!
