A whimsical soft toy constructed in the round, there is a very small chart for the pattern repeat of the colourwork stranding but the rest is written out for you. Very small amounts of yarn are needed so this project is also a great stash buster.

A textured knitted Cowl, created with simple wrapped then slipped stitches; made all the more effective with the self-striping nature of the contrast Crofter yarn.

Knit sideways with a lace edging and simple stocking stitch centre, increasing gradually to create a shallow/narrow lightweight shawl.

Cute finger puppets that you can whip up a handful in a couple of evenings, using leftover scraps, they look great in solids and variegated shades alike. The possibilities for different looks with fun yarns is endless.

A snuggly beanie in King Coles Rainbow Bright Riot DK, the crown is looser fitting than a standard beanie pattern and the addition of the folded brim fastened by a sewn through button adds interest to a basic pattern.

An interesting ribbed cowl with lace and plain ribs creating a cosy and dense fabric.

A loose, casual fitting hat with buttonhole detail. Light but warm due to the reversing of the stocking stitch to give a sideways rib and short rows help to shape the crown.
