Knitting: Baby Blanket
This is a beginner-friendly baby blanket or throw.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a simple cowl, knit in stockinette stitch using a smoky grey yarn, while alternating strands of a silver toned mohair and a golden toned baby alpaca blend, for a two-toned vibe!
Knitting: Mittens
Lovely pair of mittens knitted in hand-dyed Mineville 100% merino worsted.
Knitting: Mittens
The stitches are simple knit and purl; mostly knit in stockinette with a diamond purl motif repeat. Easy-peasy.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
An easy hat pattern that includes a double-brim to keep those ears cozy.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is knit in a diamond cable pattern and it includes a split brim with a button at the back, so it can easily be worn while wearing a ponytail!
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
The scalloped cuff, small amount of colourwork at the wrist, a flower motif and up higher a tulip motif, all repeat across the hand of this mitten.
Knitting: Cowl
As always, I love a good cow! I wanted to knit something soft and warm, while incorporating bobbles and a marbled look.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Inspired by Estonian knitting designs, these colourful fingerless mittens are warm while leaving the fingers free to go about their day.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is knit in the round using Finnish wool on the outside, with a soft Alpaca/Silk blend on the inside.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The weather in the spring and autumn can be unpredictable and this shawl blends the two aspects of warm and cool with a DK wool and a light lace weight Tencel, for a perfect combo of cozy and cool.
Knitting: Cowl
Inspired by the beautiful ocean waves from Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia.
Knitting: Cowl
Inspired by the great Canadian outdoors, this is a fun knit with motifs, bears, caribou and pine trees.
Knitting: Cowl
Inspired by the beautiful patterns from the Selbu heritage of Norway. I’ve chosen some of my favourites for the beginning and end sections of this infinity cowl, and a lice pattern to carry the middle section.
Knitting: Stocking
Inspired by a dear friend’s 3yr old who wanted a Santa hat. Although there are some patterns out there, I ended up making this one up specifically for him with a more gradual decrease in order to have a smoother transition from the rib border to the pom-pom at the top.
