Knitting: Mittens
In the past, before the popularity of rubber gloves, every fisherman’s wife knit mittens for her husband and experimented with her own design, attempting to produce a warm, durable mitten. Home-made mittens were a necessity. The women were always coming up with new patterns.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
The small size of this project makes it a delight to knit up. The finished face cloth measures approximately 8 inches by 8 inches. Should you want to increase the size, the lace pattern uses a multiple of 10 stitches plus 1.
Knitting: Pullover
This might just be the easiest sweater pattern you’ve ever followed! Knit in the round, from the top down, there are no seams or short rows and little finishing.
