Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
When my husband became ill with pneumonia, I wanted to make him as comfortable as possible. In addition to pushing fluids and making him bland meals, I decided to make him a pair of socks.
Knitting: Purse
This pattern is knit in the round on large needles with bulky yarn, so it’s not much of a commitment. The handles are made by binding off and recasting on the stitches in the next round.
