This pattern was designed for the Season 4 When Calls The Heart MKAL. The yarn “Hope Valley Skies” was designed specifically for this pattern. The pattern uses one 437 yd. skein of sock yarn plus 100 yds of contrast.

I developed this pattern to show off my hand painted yarns. The open lacework allows for all the various colors to pop out and be noticed!

The Alaskan Iditarod Race began as an emergency run to deliver serum to Nome. Led by the brave sled dog Balto, the serum arrived in time. The Race commemorates this original event.
