Knitting: Rug
Purchase 6 balls (2 strands used throughout) Knit Picks Dishie, 100% cotton in 190 yard balls.
Knitting: Gloves
This pattern is knit in using the Tubular Double Knit technique. That is: knitting in the round using 2 straight needles. Pictures are inserted to assist the knitter in learning this technique. It is practical for knitters who like to knit without seams and find working with dpns to be fumbly.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
TWIST THIS is a tubular knit top down hat with a twisted I cord band. 6 how-to pictures are included in this 6 page pattern.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
For those who wish to knit socks without using dpns or the Magic Loop. These socks are knit flat beginning at the bottom base of toes. The toes are worked in short rows through the top toes. The Sock Top is knit using an 8 row Sweetheart Stitch Pattern. The anklet is topped off in 1” ribbing and finished in I cord.

Knitting: Socks - Other
Knit from heel to toe using the Kitchener to close 5 plus 5 sts at toe. May be worked with 2 straights and a short seam or seamlessy in the round. Finished with easy applied I cord. These socks may be worn as slippers or to fill out overstretched shoes.

Crochet: Afghan block
This is my own variation on the traditional “Granny Square” - I’ve filled in the holes to give her a solid check effect. Two colors are worked in alternating rounds without tying off - so she isn’t KNOTTY. As a STITCH PATTERN this may be used any place you might otherwise use a typical Granny Square.
Knitting: Cuffs
8 petal flower motif made in one piece with a fixed band on the earwarmer with 2 leaves and a casing behind the flower on the scarflette and nosegay which the single leaf fits through.
Knitting: Applique / Embellishment
This may be made using sportweight yarn for a smaller version of the worsted weight 2 layer flower measuring 3.75” across the bottom. Use this to embellish.

Uses one strand each of Lion Brand Tiffany and wool ease for a quick knit. Constructed in one piece from the top down. The only seams are the two under sleeve which are worked into a knit row for a knot free sweater.

The texture of this yarn combo is scrumptious, stretchy, and soft. This project works up quickly. It is made in one piece, top down with no seams.
Knitting: Food Cozy, Cozy - Other
The sides are knit back and forth in the “Crest of the Wave” lace pattern stitch. The bottom (with the exception of the wine goblet) is picked up (1 stitch per row worked) on dpns and decreased to the center. The seam is invisibly worked in the Kitchener Stitch with photo instructions.
Knitting: Slippers
These are knit completely seamlessly, back and forth, with no knots using Caron Bliss and Caron Country.
Knitting: Cowl
May choices: collar length, cowl (coral), short capelet, long capelet (yellow). Including an innovative “no curl” bind off.

Instructions include beginner tubular double knit (knitting in the round with a pair of straight needles), flat knit with a seam, and knit on a set of 4 dpns.

Another 100% sport weight wool may be substituted but I think this yarn is the PERFECT choice for the project.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
Designed to be worn as slippers but may be worn in shoes 1/2 size too large. This pattern begins with the heel worked back and forth, then increases using the flatfold knitting technique until the top of the sock is established, and finally worked in tubular double knit.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
womens’ sizes are knit on #3 with the gauge of: 26 sts/30 rows per 4”

Caron yarns are recommended because Caron has been so good to me. In the picture I used Lion Brand Pound of Love together with Yarn Bee Paradox to create the luscious texture.
