Knitting: Cowl
There is a story behind each pattern in this collection. A story of my depression and anxiety, of my life, and how I coped (or didn’t), and my continued search for balance and joy and love. Knitting became a major source of comfort and coping for me as I managed (or didn’t) my most recent experience of acute depression. As I traveled this path ...

The weather was just turning crisp and cool and I wanted to knit a sweater jacket for my big girl Clara. The sweater had this awesome deep ribbed double breasted action going on and a great collar. After many attempts and failures, Clara got he...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I wanted a worsted version of my friend Naomi’s Mountain Colors Swirl Wrap, so I whipped up a version in half crepe. It’s a bit smaller, a bit faster to knit and the yarn is just scrumptious. Better photos to come, the camera died just as we were starting! grrr.
Knitting: Cardigan
This is a little cardigan worked seamlessly. You begin by knitting the body and two sleeves up to the armholes. Then the three pieces are knitted together into a yoke. You can even add a simple Fair Isle heart pattern in a contrast color – every time you come to a segment of your contrast color, just clip it out of the ball and save it for your...
