The Granny Scare Granny Square is a square and motif set with instructions on how to attach the motif as you go in an early round.

In this one pattern there are two distinct hat styles and three distinct band styles that can be mixed and matched.

This triangular motif can be used to make a flat bunting, sweater pocket, blanket applique or any number of items. The patterns offers specific written instructions on how to turn it into a hanging bunting.

In getting ready for Spring weather I wanted to create a soft cotton blanket in pastels and brights so I landed on the I Love This Cotton yarn by Hobby Lobby (solid blue sample). Though any yarn will do as long as you mind your tension. (If created too loosely, you lose the dimensions that the cabling adds).

This textured throw blanket is fun to make and beautiful to use. Back post stitches allow you to create the points and petals with clear definition and intentional design. The Mad Menagerie is a zoo of patterns. Starting with the Pig, then an Owl and a Cat, this pattern will be added to over time.

This granny square uses cables and post stitches to create a three dimensional, textured fabric.

This is a very durable bag that will expand but still hold it’s shape. It can be made with other yarns but it looks best with a cotton or cotton blend and will not become to stretchy. Acrylic yarn can be used, but due to it’s nature, the bag will appear smaller when finished, but then stretch extremely when stuffed.
