There’s been some feedback that this hat knits up big. If you need to make it smaller then it is worked in multiples of 14 stitches so just take out a repeat or for a slouchier look cast on 14 fewer stitches and the increase up to the full stitch count for the main part of the hat

This simple textured shawlette is named after one of my favourite authors, Dorothy Whipple. She wrote evocative novels about domestic life in the 1930s and 1940s which have recently been republished by Persephone Press in the UK. The shawlette is knit in a standard triangle shape with a textured inner border and an outer pleated ruffle border.

The Pergola Lace Wrap is a simple but elegant lace wrap. The pattern has two sizes - scarf or wrap - and can be knit with or without beads. If using beads you will need 320 beads to fit your chosen yarn.
