These mittens are knit in the round holding two strands together for stranded work. It’s a great way to use up scraps for your contrast colour! If larger size is prefered I would recommend going up a size in needle.
Knitting: Mittens
This pair of mittens is sure to bright up your snowy afternoon walks. With small carries, these mittens don’t have lots of loops to catch fingers on the inside. I chose to duplicate stitch the berries on afterwards. Word to the wise, I found that doing each round of berries after each repeat was easiest (less fiddly than trying to navigate your...

These wristlets are perfect for casting spells, battling dementors, and of course playing pranks on undesirable individuals. The thumb is created using waste yarn to be removed after main mitten is finished.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
As Canadians and Maritimers we live and breathe on the ice. For those of us off the ice braving the weather, here is the perfect sock for you. My family has used them to shovel, hunt, watch children on recess duty, and even just a cozy pair of socks in bed.
Knitting: Mittens
These mittens are warm and double lined to keep out the cold! They are written as an adult size but simply removing one chevron stripe at the cuff line or adding a ripple to the top of the ripples, will easily make this mitten a custom fit for you!!
Knitting: Mittens
These mittens remind me of the hills and valleys that Radagast tends to in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. The mittens are knit from cuff to tip and have a small chart in the middle. The size is “adult”, but simply adding more rounds before or after the chart for length will not disturb the pattern.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is knit in the round super quickly. I bet you could even get it done on an Unexpected Journey!
Knitting: Mittens
This pattern is a continuation of my Breakfast Waffles Collection in my Ravelry Store. These mittens give you leway to add length where needed. They’re stretchy so they fit a ladies small hand while also fitting a man’s medium. Even with a ladies small I still have 1/2 a skein of the worsted weight AND 1/2 a skein of the DK weight when finished.
Knitting: Cowl
I’ve chosen to knit the cowl with much smaller needles than the band suggests for two reasons. Firstly, it’s quite cold where I live and I didn’t want the wind to seep through the inevitable spaces between my stitches, and secondly, I felt the denser look suited the pattern just perfectly.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This pattern is designed to fit a foot of 8 inches long, however instructions are provided for you to obtain desired length. I have made these socks for a TALL TALL man and only required 2 full skeins.

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks are top down cabled beauties knitted on circular needles. You can, however, use dpns as long as you have some stitch markers handy to mark your places.
Crochet: Potholder
To make this pattern larger I suggest increasing the hook size to a K. It will give you about an inch more around.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This pattern is knitted in just one size, however in my instructions I’ve noted to continue in pattern until you are ready to complete your toe. So this pattern can be easily adjusted for much larger chillier feet :)
Knitting: Cup / Mug
This fits perfectly over a Contigo travel mug from Costco, however it fits over the average size travel mug just fine. Try adding it to your wine bottle or beer bottle to spice up your holiday party.

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This pattern is for a baby sized 0-8 months. Seems like a wide range eh? But remember some babies are heavier than others when they are born. My cousin is 8 months old and these fit him perfectly…while a friend’s new baby girl is 2 months and they fit her perfectly.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
As our friendly hobbit and his band of misfit dwarves make their way through Mirkwood Forest, they soon come to realize that it appears far more complicated than once intended. These wristlets are deceptively similar. They look complicated, but in fact they are only a 4 round repeat!!
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This pattern is for the lovers in all of us. Quick cable repeat with a gusset thumb is sure to make your weekend knitting not too boring. These are perfect for Netflix nights, train rides to new adventures and book reading.
