The “architextural” design of this hat was inspired by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This design is worked from the bottom up and can be accomplished using stranded knitting or mosaic knitting technique. Pattern is written. Any DK weight yarn would work as a substitution as long as you have sufficient yardage.

A colorful striped hat using an easy two row chevron pattern. A great use of mini skeins. I chose 7 random colors of KPPPM mini skeins and a 50 gram skein of Koigu’s KPM for the main color.

This newborn ensemble is knit using an easy two row pattern. Sweater is knit in Koigu’s KPPPM and KPM. You can select your own color palette or use the one shown. The possibilities are endless. One skein each of four different colors were used:
