The pattern is made in the round unless stated otherwise. Pattern includes two sizes of bears-a large one made with bernat blanket yarn and a small one made with worsted weight yarn. Colors are just suggestions, you can mix and match any colors you desire.

This pattern features a giraffe head measuring approximately 9”, and includes a section for how to make a matching towel topper.

There are two different sizes to choose from. Worsted weight is used for the small version, Bernat Blanket yarn and worsted weight are used for the large one. A gauge is not listed because it doesn’t matter. If making the small one, it suggests making a weighted bag (as detailed in the pattern) so poly pellets and nylon are also needed.

One skein is needed for this project. You will need to know how to treble crochet.

These cuffs are made to be fitted, so there are three sizes available. Any kind of worsted weight yarn will work, but please remember that if it is a light worsted weight, you project will end up smaller than if you use the recommended yarn.

Note: the pattern is written using a J/10-5.75MM crochet hook. The only option to choose from on this site was J-6.00MM, so if you use a 6MM hook, your bag will turn out slightly larger than what is written in the pattern. The size measures approximately 17.5” tall by 15.5” wide.
