Crochet: Animal Toy
I’d like to introduce you to Dionysus the Diplodocus.
Crochet: Decorative - Other
These little cuties take a tiny amount of cotton yarn so, although I recommend some of my favourites, any DK cotton yarn in appropriate colours will do and you can bust a bit of your stash.
Crochet: Animal Toy
This pattern shows you how to make Portia the Pug and her puppies in the amigurumi style. She is about 11cm tall and 9cm from nose to tail. The tiny babies are only 4 cm and 5 cm. So cute!
Crochet: Animal Toy
This is an intermediate pattern worked in the round. It does have some quite fiddly bits but the result is a gorgeously frightening amigurumi-style shark. I call him Socrates … don’t let that grin fool you!
Knitting: Animal Toy
This is a really easy and cute pattern worked in the round. Babita - or Babs as I call her - is a teeny bunny sitting only 12 cm and perfect for a little hand.
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
Needs both bulky yarn and thread worked with a 6mm (ish) hook for a loose tension.
Crochet: Animal Toy
Such a cutie! This tiny little piglet is the baby of the farmyard. Round and squishy and full of fun.
Crochet: Pet - Other
I love to share my loose fibres and left-over yarn ends with the nesting birds at this time of year. They love them!
Crochet: Animal Toy
I just fancied a change from chicks and bunnies this year so I’ve been making duckings … I know, not that much of a change! These pretty little cuties sit about 10cm high and are made to cuddle a small treat for Easter, birthday, christmas (gosh! wouldn’t they be gorgeous in santa hats? Gotta try that) … or any other chocolatey time.
Knitting: Animal Toy
Such a happy big round piggy pig! Persephone is the glamour girl of the farmyard. Lovable, fat and stripey. A relatively easy pattern originally made in a crochet version but now available for knitters by popular demand!
Crochet: Book Cover
This is a guide for a freeform book cover. The various yarns and hooks I used for the project are mentioned but the nature of freeform means you can experiment with any yarn you have in your stash or hooks you have in your collection. It needs only very small amounts of yarn.
Crochet: Animal Toy
Quick, good fun pattern.
Crochet: Animal Toy
I am busy experimenting with animal-amigurumi. I have started on the farm-yard and Persephone is number two and joins Cecily the stripping sheep (pattern also available!). They will very soon have many friends
Crochet: Animal Toy
A PDF crochet pattern in UK notation.
Crochet: Animal Toy
A very, very simple pattern in UK notation.. Requires only two stitches and very little yarn. Does need a little ‘extra’ crafting with wire but is very easy to do, so no specialist skills needed.
Crochet: Ornamental Flower
Really quick and extremely easy crochet project. Does need some additional crafting skill but nothing tricky (shaping craft wire).
Crochet: Decorative - Other
Easy crochet pattern for festive and celebratory bunting. No tricky stitches and very straightforward pattern with charts. Colour work in the Union Jack does leave lots of ends unless you’re clever at weaving them in as you go.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
You will need the yarn and a scattering of random, pretty buttons from your button box or a charity shop.

Crochet: Cloche Hat
A simple repeating pattern but with quite a range of stitches. This creates a beautiful effect and is an easily adaptable pattern if you want to enlarge it to an adult size.
Crochet: Electronics Cozy
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
A very easy bag that should need just one bobbin of Hooplayarn (although I know some people have needed slightly more). The pattern is designed for absolute beginners and is broken down further than a usual crochet pattern so that it is ultra simple to follow.
