Crochet: Poncho
This is an easy to intermediate crochet pattern for a children’s poncho.
Knitting: Scarf
An easy but effective chevron, zig-zag like pattern.
Crochet: Coat / Jacket
This is an easy crochet jacket done all in one piece, so no sewing up!
Knitting: Cardigan
This is a quick and simple baby cardigan made in two colours with crosses sewn on afterwards for decoration.
Crochet: Poncho
This is a really straightforward crochet poncho, with a small opening at the neck which fastens with a button to make it easier to get over the head.
Knitting: Dress
This is a simple short sleeved a-line dress using self striping yarn to give a funky effect. Any DK yarn could be used but the tension should be checked and a different amount of yarn may be required.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
The finished size of this baby blanket is approximately 60cm x 80cm.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
The pattern is for one size, adult or teenager. The gloves are very stretchy so this one size fits most hands. They can be reversed and give slighlty different colours on the different sides.
Crochet: Throw
This is a straightforward crochet pattern, which grows quickly and is suitable for all crochet abilities.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is knitted sideways in one piece the grafted together using kitchener stitch.

This is a very simple and very versatile pattern and can be used with almost any weight yarn. It is suitable for people new to lace knitting.

This pattern uses twisted stitches to give a lovely textured pattern to the back of the mitts.
Knitting: Pillow / Cushion
This is an easy cabled cushion pattern for beginners to tackle. The individual cables are knitted in separate strips and then sewn together afterwards, so that the beginner only has to do one cable at once. It is a good introduction to cables.
Knitting: Cloche Hat
This is a realy easy chunky hat, with a spiral top and a very flexible edge. It is knitted sideways then joined together using kitchener stitch to make it appear seamless. (Details on how to do the kitchener stitch are included in the pattern)
Knitting: Pullover
This pattern is a sweet sweater for a baby or toddler. The design uses double moss stitch on the top half of the sweater and the sleeves for a simple and effective pattern.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This is a really easy to crochet beanie, with added earflaps and a tie string to keep you extra warm.
