** Our Merino Sock yarn is being phased out and replaced with Merino One. The only thing that has changed is the packaging. We’ve changed to 100g skeins instead of the 50g at the request of shops and customers. Starting in Dec 2008, the color numbers will also be followed by a symbol denoting the color line. **

This is a great sock yarn, but many of our colors lend themselves to baby garments and hats as well. Shawls are absolutely delectable in this yarn, and the generous yardage helps you get there faster.

We recommend colors ending in “K”, “P”, or “S6” for shawls, but many have seen great results with the “SS” colorways. We recommend not using our Swirlies for shawls as the pooling can drive some people batty (they are designed for socks.) Swirlies colorways end with the symbol “=”
