I’m Rae, the designer, maker, and slow-living enthusiast behind Day With Rae!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the feeling of making something with my hands. It’s the quiet focus, the repetitive motion, the satisfaction of creating something from a simple strand of yarn. Crochet became my favorite way to slow down and feel connected to myself, especially during the shorter days of fall and winter that often otherwise feel rushed.

I started sharing my patterns casually, not expecting much, just hoping someone else might enjoy them too. But as I put more care into my designs, I realized I was building a creative rhythm that wasn’t about speed or productivity, but about presence, texture, and joy in the process. And I think we all need more of that in our lives!

Day With Rae was born from that rhythm. It’s a space where I can share the things I love! The soft colors, gentle patterns, wearable pieces, and the feeling of accomplishment after you’ve worked hard to improve at your craft. I design with intention, always asking: How will this feel to make? How will it fit into someone’s day?

My goal is to offer small moments of calm and connection, one stitch at a time, and hopefully inspire you to slow down a little and notice the smaller things that might otherwise pass you by as you rush through the day.
