I have been knitting on and off ever since my grandmother taught me when I was 6 - these days, a much-needed relief from my day job which mostly takes place in front of a computer. Having grown up with Norwegian traditional knitting in my backbone, it’s been a revelation to discover the online knitting community and the wealth of techniques that is out there.

I prefer to work with color, shape and construction rather than lace and fancy stitch patterns. I suffer quite badly from startitis, but I generally find a way of seeing my projects through, even though it may take a while.
