My name is Liz, I’m the designer behind Treeline Knits. I’m currently based out of Edmonton, Alberta.

After leaving behind a graphic design career for a passion in human resources, I craved being creative once again. My love of creating designs lended itself nicely to the challenge of creating knitting patterns.

My designs are often inspired by the rugged and beautiful landscapes of the Yukon where I lived for the last 11 years. I’m looking forward to seeing where the very different landscape of Alberta takes me.

I have always joked that Friday is my second favourite “F” word. During the pandemic I released a number of mitten patterns featuring various frequently used sweary sayings.

I have many more patterns planned, I just need to find the time to knit them up!

When I’m not knitting or designing I can be often be found running, hiking or biking, basically anything that gets me outside.

I also enjoy working with locally sourced, ethically trapped fur to make fur pompoms to adorn my knitted hats.
