I first learned how to knit when I was about eight (my mum taught me the basics), but didn’t really get the hang of it until I was on maternity leave with my first son ten years ago.
I knit all kinds of accessories and garments and have just started designing my own patterns.
My favourite technique is stranded colourwork. To me, knitting is a source of joy and an outlet for my creativity.
I also sew my own clothes and my long-term aim is to make all types of knitted and sewn items that go well together.
