I am a Dutch knitwear designer with a passion for modern patterns with a sometimes subtle nerdy twist.

Creativity and crafting stand at the heart of who I am. Ever since I was a child I wanted to make, create, build! Regardless of where I am in life, textile crafts have kept me company. While there are vast amounts of patterns available, I love to create something special, to fit the desires of the people I am making things for (even if it is for myself). As I am going though the trouble of designing these patterns, I have decided to also write them up and provide them for those among you who enjoy them too!

Having gotten my doctorate on organizing for collective creativity I am intrigued not just by the crafting itself but also the complexities that can occur in these communities of creativity. While both knitting and the act of designing knitwear patterns are solitary activities, the community around this is incredible!
