A wardrobe summer staple with a twist — literally. The 04 Multiway Cami is a thoughtfully designed A-line summer top worked in fingering weight yarn with clean lines and a flattering V-neck, featuring multifunctional icord ties that let you create multiple looks from just one piece. Want to style it with a cross-back detail? Tie bows at the shoulders for a cute, feminine finish? Or transform it into your perfect halter neck? The styling possibilities are endless, and we can’t wait to see your interpretation.

This versatile camisole is worked in the round, bottom up, and has been designed to have 5 cm - 10 cm/2” - 4” negative ease incorporated at the bust for a close fit to accentuate the A-line fit. It can be worked with an optional eyelet seam running down each side, perfect for adding subtle texture to a solid colour yarn. Prefer a cleaner finish? Omit the eyelets and let bold stripes take centre stage.

The project begins with a neat folded hem, created using a crochet provisional cast-on and a purl ridge for the fold, then joined seamlessly by knitting the cast-on edge together with live stitches. From there, decreases shape the gentle A-line silhouette, guided by markers.

If you opt for the eyelet detail, a simple stitch pattern adds visual interest along the side seams. Without it, a smooth column of knit stitches frames the shaping.

The front neckline is then shaped into a flattering V and finished with an applied icord. A separate icord is cast on using the crochet provisional method, worked across the top of the back, and transitions into long ties that form the adjustable straps. You’ll place markers on the back to create loops for the ties, customisable to suit your preferred style.

And just like that, you’ve created an elevated basic - but one that’s anything but basic. The 04 Multiway Cami is ready to wear; simple, striking, and endlessly adaptable.
