YARN NEEDED: small ball weighing about 1 oz!

For those who love making these house slippers for themselves, your doll can now have a pair, too! They are for a for 18” doll, but could be made longer for larger foot - check length on the foot as you go.

I wrote this pattern out the day after I made them, and I just made another pair and believe I missed alternating the knit / pufl rows in the toe area. I am going to update the pattern soon as I locate it on my hard drive and reload it on ravelry, but want to put this here right now, incase it’s needed:

First, pay attention to the purls in the toe, my Battat doll used 9 purls, but my Pleasant Co doll only used 6 purls. Whether that is the doll or that sometimes yarns are heavier when they are dark colors, like red, dk green, etc - I don’t know, but you have to decide on how far to knit out yourself.

After you finish the toes with the 1x1 ribbing, be sure to end on the second row (p1, k1).

This part says knit on the pattern, but it should have reversed to purls:

With back facing me as I knit, P1, P2tog across.

Next row: K2 tog across, there are 7 left.

Next row: Purl stitchs across to reduce bulk & cut yarn no less than 12-15” to pull thru those 7 st and sew up the top.
