This crochet pattern is for a 1920’s style cloche hat.

I have named this hat ‘The Titanic,’ in memory of that famous ship which tragically sank on her maiden voyage. The Titanic was nonetheless a remarkable feet of engineering for her day, built in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which is my home country.

It is a cloche style hat is sized for women (head circumference 22-23 inches), and you will need a light weight yarn to complete this project.

The pattern is suitable for beginners, with a basic crocheting knowledge, and is written in standard US terms. I have included detailed step-by-step instructions, and I also offer support via email, should you need help with any aspect of the making process.
