A quick and easy hat suitable for beginners and pros alike. Using rib stitch for about 2 1/2 inches and then switching to stockinette stitch, the hat is created very quickly. The crown shaping is also very simple. There will be enough yarn left over for a pompon if desired, or a store-bought fur pompom can be used as in the example here.
The hat will fit most adults.
