A beautiful unisex baby blanket, that is fun and quick to knit, and will be cherished forever!
Materials: 6 skeins (2 skeins in each of 3 colors) of Berroco Vintage Chunky yarn, and size 10.5 (24” - 32” circular) needles.

Note: I recommend purchasing 2 skeins of each color, to allow for differences in knitting, and to avoid the frustration of running out of yarn. When knitting the sample, I used 1 entire skein of each color, with almost nothing leftover.

Skills required are casting on, knitting, purling, changing colors, and binding off.

Blanket is worked seamlessly in 1 piece.
Although the blanket has the appearance of a patchwork, it is actually knit in 1 piece, using 3 colors for each row and knitting in the intarsia style of colorwork.
Don’t be afraid of intarsia - it’s easy, once you get the hang of it.
You just have to be careful to twist the yarns together at each point of color change, to prevent a hole from forming at that spot.

Pattern is clearly written, and includes a schematic for color placement.
