30 X 35 Fingerless Mitts
Cast on 30 stitches and knit 35 rows. That is all it takes to make fingerless mitts with a thumb. You will be manipulating some stitches along the way so the pattern is designed for Intermediate Knitters who know how to cast on, knit, purl, knit 2 together and bind off. The mitts are knit flat and then the tails left from casting on and binding off are used to seam from the top and bottom to the thumb opening. To make a longer version simply add more rows to the cuff edge. Knit from the finger opening down, these cuties work up quickly and make great gifts!
