Do you fancy learning how to crochet Flowers?
Here’s a lovely collection of patterns that I use to take crochet students from first working in the round to adapting and developing their own ideas.
The booklet works with Stylecraft Special Dk yarn but any DK will substitute, and a 4mm hook.
The first flower is made up mostly using chains and the patterns progress in difficulty to overlapping petals, spokes and larger coaster flowers with suggestions for adapting your work beyond the written patterns.
Great for decorative motifs / brooches / card making.
The amount of yarn required obviously depends on how many of which flower you want to make and how many colours you wish to use. A 100g skein will stand you in good stead to try out most ideas several times - left overs from a range of colours will work even better.
