A boomerang shaped shawl with mesh panels reminiscent of leaded light windows which inspired the name. When blocked the mesh opens up and you can hold up your shawl and look through the mesh ‘window’

This shawl was designed to make the most of those uber-pretty single skeins that you just couldn’t live without but now have no idea what to do with. Go on, admit it, you have a few stashed away don’t you?

Can’t decide whether your yarn would be shown off to its best knit in garter or stocking stitch? This shawl has both!

Think your highly variegated or speckled skein will look great paired with a toning or contrasting solid? Add stripes for a pop of solid colour.

To make this a super-relaxing stress-free knit, there’s a handy stitch count check list so you can pick up your work in progress and simply count the number of stitches to find out exactly where you are. Or print the page and tick off the rows as you go.

Gauge isn’t important but please bear in mind that different yarn and needle sizes will affect both yardage requirement and the finished size of your shawl.
