A thousand words
A long-winged triangular shawl, “Thousand words” is inspired by the simple beauty of nature. Sometimes what Nature gift us is so incredibly charming that it doesn’t need any adornment.
The yarn I used, Abenaia_yarn is family produced yarn, processed and dyed locally. Marisa sources her wool from local sheperds, making sure to pay a fair price &, thus, contributing to a circular economy, compromised with the environment.
The yarn is natutrally dyed, with local plants & using mountaing spring water & the charcoal fire that warms her own home, ensuring a minimum ecological impact.
The pattern is a very simple and relaxing knit that showcast the incredible quality of the yarn & its natural colours. It consists of a four rows pattern repeat on garter stitch that highlights the natural colours of the yarn
