Abby’s Crochet Throw is beautifully understated and embodies classic simplicity. The herringbone double crochet stitch used throughout the blanket creates a reversible, solid fabric with divine drape that doesn’t at all feel hot or heavy. This would be a fantastic blanket for the spring and fall months when there’s a bit of a chill in the air and you want to cover up, but it isn’t quite cold enough to break out the super plush blankets. The stripe pattern on the ends of the blankets is easily shown off when draped over a chair with those beautiful greens evoking a very calming, neutral vibe. If green isn’t your cup of tea, the colors can be easily adapted for whatever suits your fancy. This blanket also works up quickly since the stitches are tall, perfect if you’re in a time crunch and need to get it finished in a hurry. The pattern is for one size only, but I include the stitch multiple so that if you want to adjust for a different size you can do that.
