Abigail is no ordinary doll. Flip her skirt over her head and she becomes a tulip-like flower. Flip it back down over the stem and she’s a pretty princess again.
Despite her cool turns-into-a-flower trick, the construction isn’t all the difficult. Both her head and her dress are made in one piece with some blo detailing at the waist. The arms, flower stem, and leaf are made separately and stitched on afterward. Her hair is made by making a pink cap and attaching two small pompoms on either side. The whole thing is then sewn to the head.
If you know basic crochet stitches, she should be fairly easy to make, even if you don’t have experience with amigurumi.
