This hat was designed with two goals in mind:

1. Keep heads warm, especially when protesting, responding to community, or keeping watch over schools, daycares, and other gathering places.
2. Share a message of resistance.

This isn’t the most elegant, or perfect, or fancy hat pattern to ever be drafted. But standing up for our neighbors and resisting this fascist regime means taking action, often times imperfectly.

I encourage you to give this a try, please make adjustments and additions as you see fit. Or just use the charts to add a message to a different project. Also, there is lots of space for adding your own frills and charts.
