I really enjoy designing shawls that look beautiful, classic, and are simple to make. The special stitch I use in this pattern looks like a little hug, which is why I named it abrazo which means hug in Spanish. When designing this I was really inspired by the importance of the people in our lives. Our close circle of friends and family. The ones we hug everyday, go home to at night, want to call and tell of our joys or failures, the people we work side by side with everyday. This is dedicated to those people in my life, who I appreciate so much!
