Knit the same pattern in different yarn bases and weights.
That is, you can make quite different garments from one pattern that works really well in different yarns.

For my own sweaters I have played around with sizes and yarns and also with the neckline:

  • the brown/grey sweater is knitted in size 5 with Léttlopi, aran weight (gauge of 19 sts)
  • the red/natural sweater (also size 5) is knitted with Hillesvåg Sol, DK weight (gauge 20 sts)
  • (I have cast on a third with gauge 18 sts – knitting size 3 to get approx a size 5)

To make your knitting joyful and the instructions easy to navigate, you’ll find photo tutorials and helpful hand drawings in the pattern.
