Adam's Snuggly Hat
I’ve made this hat for warmth in the colder months. When my first sample came off the needles and I put it on, it felt so snuggly I couldn’t think of another name for it. It’s made with chunky yarn, in two colours. You need about 75g (3/4 ball) of your primary colour, and 25g of a contrast colour. And if you don’t want to make it in chunky, you can easily substitute that for DK held double which should work well (just check your gauge).
The pattern is quick to make (well, it’s chunky!) and there’s an interesting stitch to learn, which I’ve called Chrysalis. The pattern includes a link to a youtube tutorial on how to do this stitch.
Testers have agreed that this pattern is best suited for an intermediate level knitter, or a very adventurous and determined beginner who is keen to learn.
