Did you know that you can work the afghan stitch in wire instead of yarn or thread? You can, but you might be surprised to see what the results look like. Gauge is not important for this pattern, because the width of the bracelet can be flexible. The most important dimension -- the circumference -- is determined by the number of rows you crochet.
