African Snake Sweater
While I was knitting the sample for this pattern, my kid said it seemed like I was making a sweater for a snake! Hence, the name….

Lightly inspired by African art, this warm scarf is worked in stranded stockinette, in fingering weight wool. Instructions are provided for knitting in the round or working flat on straight needles. The main color makes up about 70% of the total needed, and contrast colors are about 30%. I provide the color list that I used, and the order in which I used them. Choose your own and bust your stash!

Materials used for sample:
Knit Picks Palette: 182g or 3.75 skeins of main color (shown in Coriander Heather)
(appr 78g or 360 yards in all for contrasting colors; total weight of sample is 260g)

Contrast colors:
A: Bittersweet Heather
B: Pumice Heather
C: RainforestHeather
D: OpalHeather
E: Mineral Heather
F: Bouquet Heather
G: GarnetHeather
H: SalsaHeather
