This large & cosy rectangular wrap features an intriguing interplay of two colours worked in garter stripes and an eye-catching beautiful mosaic motif.

Have you ever been to Lisbon? When you walk through this fascinating city, you’ll see beautiful tiles everywhere decorating the houses and walls, and pavements with graphic mosaic motifs on the sidewalks and many public places. I tried to capture some of its charm that I experienced when visiting about three years ago in this shawl design.

Mosaic knitting is an easy colourwork technique that uses slipped stitches and only one color at a time, which makes for fun knitting and striking results.

Different alternating sections with three mosaic parts make this pattern a fun and engaging knit, resulting in a cosy item to highlight your daily wardrobe.

The pattern comes with fully written and charted instructions so you can choose which you prefer to work from.

I hope you enjoy the pattern!

I have also designed a matching sweater/top pattern with this beautiful mosaic motif! You can find it here: Afternoon in Lisbon (Top)
