Agnes Nitt’s Knitted Hat is a reversible hat that has a little rib on one side and a boxy pattern on the other. It was inspired by the character Agnes Knitt of Terry Pratchett’s DiscWorld series. Agnes is usually very kind and reserved. She discovers she has a fun, self-protective side, but calls her by a different name, Perdita. Both sides chat, which helps her through life’s challenges like moving to the big city to sing in the opera, then moving back home to be courted by a vampire. She will always be pulled between calm and chaos.
