Greebo's Basket Washcloth
Update available April 28, 2018.
Greebo’s Washcloth is a simple washcloth crocheted to mimic the pattern of a basket. It is inspired by Greebo, a tomcat in Terry Pratchett’s DiscWorld series. Greebo’s owner, Nanny Ogg, loves her fluffy kitten, but the rest of the world sees danger if it dares look in his eyes. When not scaring the neighborhood, Greebo sleeps in his basket. Portraits of family members who are out-of-favor end up in his basket, too.
The washcloth can be made larger or smaller by changing the number of rows crocheted.
Materials
Yarn - acrylic, aran weight, 25 - 35 yards
Hooks - both H and J hooks (using the smaller hook makes the single crochet row pop)
