Poppy Washcloth is a washcloth that was inspired by many things – the delicate flowers that I grew when I lived up North, the medicine made from poppies that is often misused, and Armistice Day, for my great-uncle. There is both beauty and terror in many things.

13 st and 20 rows in 4 inches (10 cm) of stockinette.

Materials
Aran or worsted weight yarn, petal color: 45 yd (41 m)
Black center: 5 yd (5 m)
Needles size 8 (5 mm), or the size you need to achieve your gauge,
in the style you prefer for small circular projects (I used a small circular with DPNs; magic loop is another option)
