Pattern accessibility There are three versions of this pattern pdf available. Print (3 column), mobile, and low vision.

The yarn is a loosely spun single from S Twist Wool in natural grey and three subtle shades, which are dyed over grey, rather than white wool. The rustic, lofty texture of the yarn reminds me of Icelandic Lopi, and Icelandic Lopapeysa yoke patterns inspired the colourwork.

The hat is worked from the bottom up, with all shaping worked into the colourwork pattern. It’s a little slouchy with a slightly gathered top.
