♫ The Music ♫
Ainnir Shligigh (aka Sligo Maid) is a traditional Irish reel that will lift your spirits and get your toes a’tapping.

There aren’t many fashion ensembles that can’t be accentuated with a lovely rectangular shawl. With a chart that’s easy to decipher, you’ll love to knit Ainnir, making this accessory as fun to make as it is to wear!

Lace, a tiny touch of cables and twisted stitches come together in pleasant harmony in this design. The pattern includes 3 widths so it can be worn as a wide scarf or shawl.

Knitting begins at the centre with a provisional cast on; once one side is completed, the provisional stitches are picked up and the second side is knit to match the first.

Pattern is charted only.

Sample shown in Knit Picks Palette (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 231 yards/50g): Bluebell 24578, 3 (5, 6) balls.
