ENGLISH
Alba is a summer tank top in cotton very simple and quick to made.
Is characterized by a lace pattern in the yoke.
The body is worked seemlessly, from the bottom-up, and the yoke is worked flat.
It starts at the bottom edge with the “strisce a grana di riso” stitch and continues with Stockinette st, with waist shaping.
You will then separate the front from the back, work the yoke with the “trellis” stitch and the decreases up to the neck.
Once the body is complete, create the i-cord to join the front and back, creating a cross on the back.
The pattern contains instructions for working the cropped version.

Measurements
The following measures refer to the completed work after it is washed and blocked. The tank top is designed with a negative ease of 6cm/2.5in in the bust circumference. So choose the size that is closer than your measurements. The photo shows the size S on a bust circumference of 84cm/33.5in.
Bust circumference 68 (78 – 88 – 98 – 108 – 118) cm/ 27.25 (31.25 – 35.25 – 39.25 – 43.25 – 47.25) inch.

Yarn
430 (500, 570, 650, 735, 810) m/ 470 (550, 625, 715, 805, 890) yd of Birdies Knits hand-dyed yarn (100% cotton, 218 yd/200m, 50g) in Mistakes and Margaritas color.
You can replace the yarn with a fingering weight yarn to achieve a similar gauge.

Materials
Straight and circular needles 3 mm/US 2 (60 cm/24in – 80 cm/32in)
Remember to choose the number of needles with which you reach the gauge indicated.
2 stitch markers.

Difficulty and skills required
Easy/Intermediate
Knitter must be able to work the lace stitches following the provided chart, increases and decreases, i-cord bind-off, i-cord technique.

Stockinette stitch gauge: 10cm x 10cm (4in x 4in) = 24sts x 34rnds with 3mm/US 2 needles.

ITALIANO
Alba è una canotta estiva molto semplice e veloce da realizzare.
E’ caratterizzata dal punto in pizzo nello sprone.
Si lavora in tondo, senza cuciture, bottom-up, la parte del corpo e poi in piano la parte dello sprone.
Si inizia dal bordo inferiore con il punto “strisce a grana di riso” e si continua a M. Rasata, modellando la vita.
Dividerai poi il davanti dal dietro e lavorerai lo sprone in piano col punto “trellis” e le diminuzioni fino al collo.
Quando il corpo è completato, crea l’i-cord per congiungere il davanti e il dietro creando un incrocio sulla schiena.
Nel modello sono presenti le istruzioni per lavorare la versione cropped.

Misure
Le misure indicate si riferiscono al lavoro finito, lavato e bloccato. La canotta è progettata con un agio negativo di 6cm, quindi scegli la taglia che rimane più stretta delle tue misure.
