One of my favourite stitches for showing off gorgeous yarns - you can use DK, aran or worsted weight, but be sure to check your gauge.

Works for guys or gals (both Alistair and Alexandra have one in my family - hence the name )

Tip - if you want to turn up a cuff and have the same stitches showing, the easiest way is to work a wrap and turn.
That way you keep working the same way but the stitches are reversed.
