This is the swatch that turned into a bandana cowl. It was the perfect size with the addition of a snap to provide a bit of warmth and color around your neck, goes on and off easily in changeable weather, and fits into a purse or pocket.

Numbers given are for the weight/gauge/size I knit, but there’s no reason you can’t use different weights - just knit more or fewer rows until you get the size you want.

Skills required:
• Increasing
• Slipping stitches

Additional materials needed:
• Large snap and supplies to attach

Turns out it makes a great kerchief too :)

Sample knit in Wool Days Scout in Blush and various Cascade 220 leftovers.
