Ho realizzato due versioni dello Scialle Alice.

Scialle Alice bicolore l’ho realizzato utilizzando il filato Melody Drops, scegliendo due colori: senape e mattone.

Il nome è un omaggio ad una mia fornitrice di filati titolare di diLanaedaltrestorie, con il suo blog ho imparato molto e continuo ad imparare.

I punti sono semplici, occorre fare solo attenzione al motivo centrale, consiglio l’utilizzo di marcapunti per facilitare la lavorazione, nel video mostro dove metterli, all’inizio e alla fine del motivo centrale traforato e al centro dove ci sono gli aumenti.

Lo scialle ha tre lavorazioni differenti:

• maglia legaccio
• motivo traforato centrale
• fascia a piccoli fori.

E’ lavorato in piano in ferri di andata e ritorno, dall’alto verso il basso.

Si parte con 4 maglie e su tutti i ferri a diritto ci sono gli aumenti lateralmente e al centro.

La particolarità del fondo dello scialle e che non finisce con una punta ma alla fine del motivo traforato centrale con una serie di gettate si realizza un triangolo.

Lo scialle finito misura circa 178 cm di larghezza, 72 cm di altezza.

La chiusura è morbida e leggermente ondulata.

Filato Melody Drops:
2 mattone col 19
1,5 senape col 18

Sono necessari circa 448 metri di filato, ferri circolari n. 7.
Consiglio punte di legno, essendo il filato peloso è più facile lavorarlo.

Nell’ultima pagina la spiegazione delle abbreviazioni con il loro significato e i simboli utilizzati negli schemi.

parte b: è dedicata interamente agli schemi dello scialle.
Ho fatto questa scelta pensando a chi vuole realizzare uno scialle ma ha difficoltà nel seguire gli schemi.

ALICE BICOLORE SHAWL - ENGLISH

I made two versions of the Alice Shawl.
I knitted Alice bicolore shawl using Melody Drops, choosing two colors: brick and mustard.

The name is a tribute to one of my yarn suppliers who owns diLanaedaltrestorie, with her blog I learned a lot and continue to learn.

The stitches are simple, you just need to pay attention to the central motif. I recommend using stitch markers to facilitate processing. In the video I show where to put them, at the beginning and end of the central lace motif and in the center where the increases are.

The shawl has three different knitting patterns:

• garter stitch
• central openwork motif
• band of eyelest stitch.

The shawl is worked flat, back and forth, from top to bottom.
Start with 4 stitches and on all right side there are increases laterally and in the center.
The peculiarity of the bottom of the shawl is that it does not end with a tip but at the end of the central openwork motif a triangle is created with a series of yarn overs.

The closure is soft and slightly wavy.

The finished shawl measures approximately 178 cm wide (70.08 inches), 72 cm high (28.35 inches).

Alice bicolore shawl is made with Melody Drops, the colors are:
No. 2 brick col 19, No. 1,5 mustard col 18. Approximately 448 meters or 490 yards.

Circular needles no. 7.00 mm of 100 cm.
I recommend pointed wooden sticks, since the yarn is hairy it is easier to work with.

part A: the characteristics of the shawl (on the first page) in the following pages each single row with the direction of work, the reference row, the stitches worked and the total stitches of each row.
On the last page the explanation of the abbreviations with their meaning and the symbols used in the diagrams.

part B: is dedicated entirely to shawl charts.
I made this choice thinking of those who want to make a shawl but have difficulty following the charts.
