Alinea is a minimal, oversized drop shoulder cardigan with a lot of straight lines and little shaping. With set-in pockets, no front closures and wide, ¾ length sleeves, it’s a practical and easy to wear year-round piece that can be dressed up or down. Shaping at the back of the neckband and short rows at the shoulders and sleeve caps give the cardigan a more refined fit.

The stitch pattern is both charted and written. The cardigan is worked bottom up seamlessly and the sleeves are picked up and knit down in the round. The neckband is picked up, worked in two pieces and seamed at the centre back neck. The pockets are prepared while working the body and constructed with a pocket bag.
