This pattern is for a v-neck top with two strings to tie at the back.
The pattern is designed for UK size 12, however, I included tips regarding increasing/decreasing the size.

I always try to make my projects with the minimal sewing needed, as I do not trust my sewing skills. So I decided to crochet this top in one piece, including the sleeves. It means that when you start to work on the back of the top your stitches will be upside down, but it did not matter with the stitch I used (hdc), the back and the front of the top look the same.

I added pictures to the pattern to demonstrate how the project should look like at each stage.

The pattern requires intermediate level skills, mainly because of the design itself, and how it is worked in one piece.

The stitches used are half double crochet, single crochet and slip stitch (US term).

I used 13 balls of Stylecraft Classique Cotton DK (100% Cotton/92m/50g) yarn in white colour. Lovely soft jumper, pleasant to wear.

I used a 4mm crochet hook and darning needle for sewing the sides together.

Finished size is 55cm long (shoulder to bottom of jumper) 44cm wide. I am UK size 12 - pictures demonstrate how it fits.
Sleeves only come half way down the lower arm. However, this again can easily be modified.
